"Bhawana" - Meditation Program

Buddhist meditation refers to the meditative practices associated with the religion and philosophy of Buddhism. Core meditation techniques have been preserved in ancient Buddhist texts. Buddhist pursue meditation as a critical part of the path to Nirwana.

Buddhist meditation has a variety of techniques that aimed to develop mindfulness, concentration , tranquility and insight.

The meditation program is a way to reduce stress and anger. Meditation is pure concentration on one thing. The meditation program consists of a specific type of meditation called Anapanasati Bhawana, which is commonly known as the Meditation of Breathing. Anapanasati Bhawana is pure concentration on your breathing. The meditation portion of the program is 45 minutes long. Following the meditation, a Dhamma discussion about meanings of words or phrases and discussions of gathas takes place. After the discussion, then a Buddha pooja is conducted for the monks.
